Maria Kurjo (born December 10, 1989 in Berlin ) is a German diver . She starts for the Berlin TSC in the diving discipline.

Kurjo won the silver medal at the 2007 European Junior Championships in Trieste . At the European Championships in 2009 she was fourth from the tower, at the European Championships in 2011 she achieved her first international podium finish with the bronze medal. It also started at World Championships for the first time in Shanghai in 2011 . In the 10-m high diving she was 19th in the preliminary battle and just missed the semi-finals.

She came second at the FINA Diving Grand Prix 2009 in Montreal . In 2010 Kurjo was also the first German champion in 10 m synchronized jumping.

In February 2010 Kurjo had a serious competition accident. As she jumped from the tower, she hit her head on the platform and fell unconscious into the water. She suffered a laceration and severe concussion. Even so, she resumed training just a few weeks later.

In 2012 she took part in the water diving at the Summer Olympics in London.
