Julija Prokoptschuk ( Ukrainian Юлія Прокопчук ; born October 23, 1986 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Ukrainian diver . She jumps in 10 m tower and synchronized jumping.

She took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 and reached 20th place in high diving. So far, she has participated in three world swimming championships . Her best result is an eleventh place in 2009 in Rome in the 10 m synchronized jumping together with Kateryna Schuk and a fifth place with Wiktorija Potechina in 2011 in Shanghai . In 2011 she finished sixth in the individual from the tower.

Prokoptschuk has won six medals at European Swimming Championships so far . In 2006 in Budapest she won gold in high diving and, together with Schuk, bronze in synchronized diving, in 2008 in Eindhoven she won silver in the same competitions, but this time with her new dubbing partner Alina Tschaplenko . The duo won two other medals together, silver again in Budapest in 2010 and bronze in Turin in 2011 .
