Christin Steuer (born March 6, 1983 in Berlin-Buch ) is a German diver .

Life

Christin Steuer started diving when she was six years old. In 1998 she won bronze from the tower at the European Junior Championships. At the 2001 World Championships, she achieved her first place in the adult class with ninth place. In 2004 she was fourth at the European Championships, but then did not reach the final at the 2004 Olympic Games as 28th in qualification. At the European Championships in 2006 , Steuer won bronze from the tower, a year later she took bronze at the World Championships . At the 2010 European Swimming Championships , she won gold in the individual from the tower, with her synchronizing partner Nora Subschinski gold in the 10 m synchronized jumping and together withSascha Klein Gold in the team competition. In 2011, Steuer won silver at the European Championships with Subschinski and bronze at the World Championships .

Steuer won 14 German championships. She starts for SC Riesa and trains with Uwe Fischer. She is a sports soldier .

Before the 2012 Summer Olympics in London , Steuer, along with Beate Gauß , Christina Schütze , Regina Sergeeva and Angela Maurer, was among the five athletes who posed naked in the German edition of Playboy .
