Steele Alexander Johnson (born June 16, 1996 in Indianapolis ) is an American water diver . At the 2016 Olympic Games , he and David Boudia won the silver medal in synchronized jumping from the 10-meter tower.

Career

Johnson took part in the Diving World Cup for the first time in 2014 and, together with David Boudia, took third place in synchronized diving from the 10-meter tower. The following year, the couple finished fifth at the World Championships . At the 2016 Olympic Games, both won the silver medal.

At the 2017 World Championships, Johnson qualified for the finals in two disciplines. In artificial jumping from the 1-meter board, he took 7th place. In the synchronized jumping from the 10 m tower he finished 6th together with Brandon Loschiavo . At the 2018 World Cup, the couple reached 5th place in the final.

At the 2019 World Championships , Johnson together Benjamin Bramley took 8th place in the synchronized jumping final from the 10-meter tower.
