Michal Krčmář (born January 23, 1991 in Vrchlabí ) is a Czech biathlete .

Career

Michal Krčmář starts for Spartak OEZ Letohrad . In 2009 he started in Canmore for the first time at the Biathlon Junior World Championships and was 13th of the individual, 38th of the sprint, 34th of the pursuit and with Lukáš Kristejn , Vlastimil Vávra and Ondřej Exler eleventh in the relay race. A year later in Torsby he was 20th in the individual, 29th in the sprint, 23rd in the pursuit and seventh in the relay. In Otepää he also took part in the junior races of the European Championships 2010 , where he was 30th in the individual, 25th in the sprint, 31st in the pursuit and ninth in the mixed relay. In the further course of the year he started in the junior races of the IBU Summer Cup 2010 in Nové Město, finished third in the sprint and only had to admit defeat to Tomáš Hasilla in the pursuit . In 2011 Krčmář was at the home Junior World Championships in Nové Město na Moravě 23rd of the individual, 20th of the sprint, 45th of the pursuit and eighth with the Czech relay. At the junior races of the European Championships 2011 in Ridanna , he was very successful and won bronze medals in sprint and pursuit. In addition, the Czech was sixth in the individual and eighth in the mixed relay. At the junior races of the 2011 World Championships in Nové Město, he was seventh in the individual, eighth in the sprint and fifth with Eva Puskarčíková , Kristýna Černá and Vlastimil Vávra in the mixed relay. The results at the European Championships 2012 Osrblie were less good . Krčmář finished 26th in the individual, 16 in the sprint, eleven in the pursuit and six with the mixed relay.
