Tomáš Hasilla (born August 23, 1990 in Brezno , Slovakia , ČSFR ) is a Slovak biathlete .

Career

Tomáš Hasilla from the club biatlonu Osrblie played his first international race in 2007 in the European Junior Cup . The first international championships were the Biathlon Junior World Championships in 2008 in Ruhpolding , where he was 38th in the individual, 39th in the sprint, 46th in the pursuit and 15th in the relay. This was followed by the junior races of the European Biathlon Championships in 2008 in Nové Město na Moravě , in which the Slovak was 55th of the individual, 65th of the sprint and 15th of the relay race. A year later he appeared again in Canmore at the Junior World Championships and finished 49th in the individual, 24 in the sprint, 28 in the pursuit and was 13th with the relay. In the further course of the year Hasilla started in the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof . In the cross-country race he was 30th in the sprint and 20th in the pursuit, on roller skis 16th in the sprint, 21st in the pursuit and seventh in the mixed relay competition. This was followed in 2010 by the Junior World Championships in Torsby , in which Hasilla was tenth in the individual and 14th in the sprint and also fell back to 42nd place in the pursuit due to a poor shooting performance with seven errors. Shortly afterwards he started again in the junior races of the Biathlon European Championships 2010 in Otepää and reached the placements 26 in the individual, 29 in the sprint, 24 in the pursuit and ten with the mixed relay. In the summer he won a sprint and a pursuit race in the IBU Junior Summer Cup . Then the Slovenian started again at the World Championships in Summer Biathlon in Duszniki-Zdrój , where Hasilla was tenth in the sprint, 12th in the pursuit and fifth in mixed relay. The last junior season was 2010/11. First Hasilla took part in his fourth Junior World Championships in Nové Město and achieved good results with 13th place in the individual, 17 in the sprint and 20 in the pursuit, but only reached 20th place with the relay. The Junior European Championships in Ridnaun brought the ranks 16 in the individual, 28 in the sprint, 23 in the pursuit race and ten with the mixed relay. In the summer he successfully participated in the 2011 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Martell and was fourth in the sprint and behind Iwan Morawskyj in the pursuit race and silver medalist with Paulína Fialková , Lucia Simová and Michal Kubaliak in the mixed relay race. The 2011 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Nové Město were a little less successful , Hasilla finished 24th in the sprint, 12th in the pursuit and seventh in the mixed relay.

Hasilla contested his first international men's race in 2009 in the European Cup . In Osrblie he immediately won the first points as the 38th of a sprint in his first race. The first international championships were the 2012 Biathlon European Championships in Osrblie. Hasilla finished 34th in the individual, 20th in the sprint and 17th in the pursuit. In the relay race he was with Martin Otčenáš , Norbert Gröne and Peter Kazár 12th nationally, he won his first medal in 2012 with silver in the mass start race behind Martin Otčenáš.

During the Biathlon World Cup 2012/2013 Hasilla was used twice in the relay. In these two relay races, the Slovak team reached seventh place and thus also World Cup points.

In the 2013/2014 season Hasilla fought for his first points in an individual world cup race. In the individual race in Annecy - Le Grand Bornand , he reached 32nd place and thus nine World Cup points.
