Iwan Morawskyj ( Ukrainian Іван Моравский , English transcription Ivan Moravskyy ; born July 3, 1992 in Dobrywoda , Rivne Oblast ) is a Ukrainian biathlete .

Ivan Morawskyj started for the first time in 2010 in Torsby at the Junior World Championships and was 41st in the sprint and 28th in the pursuit. A year later he was in Nové Město na Moravě 26th of the individual and missed the pursuit race as 74th of the sprint. Shortly afterwards he took part in the junior races of the European Championships in Ridnaun . In the sprint he reached the 40th, in the pursuit race the 27th. In the further course of the year, the Ukrainian also competed in races in the summer biathlon . Morawskyj was particularly successful in the 2011 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Martell , where he won the sprint and pursuit titles. This was followed by the 2011 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Nové Město, where, unlike the European Championships, the races were not carried out in cross-country but on roller skis . In the sprint he was 22nd, was disqualified in the pursuit race and just missed winning another international medal with the relay as fourth. In winter 2012 the European Championships in Osrblie became the only major international event. In the individual he was 25th and missed top ten placements as 12th in the sprint and 16th in the pursuit. With Anastassija Merkuschyna , Iryna Warwynez and Oleksandr Dachno , he won the bronze medal in the mixed relay behind Norway and Russia. In summer he started again in the junior races of the European Championships in Osrblie, where he could not build on the successes of the previous year as eleventh in sprint and pursuit. Nevertheless, Morawskyj was appointed to the Ukrainian mixed relay alongside Switlana Krikontschuk , Tetjana Tratschuk and Andrij Vosnjak and won the silver medal behind the traditionally overpowering Russian representation and ahead of Slovakia.
