Norbert Gröne (born May 16, 1987 ) is a Slovak biathlete .

Norbert Gröne from the club biatlonu Osrblie began his international career at the Junior World Championships in 2005 in Kontiolahti . As in 2007 in Martell and 2008 in Ruhpolding , he was never able to place in the top 50. Things went better at the European Junior Championships. Grönen competed here for the first time in 2006 in Langdorf . In none of the individual races could he place better than 50th place, in the relay race he was tenth. A year later, the best results in Bansko were 22nd place in the sprint and eighth in the relay. In 2008, 38th place in the sprint of Nové Město na Moravě and tenth place with the relay were best results. Gröne also achieved quite good results at the 2007 Summer Junior World Championships in Otepää . The best results were eleventh place in the cross-country mass start and fifth in the cross-country relay. In the Junior European Cup, in which the Slovak has been racing since 2006, a second relay rank in 2008 in Osrblie was the best result.

Grönen has been in the men's area since 2008. He competed in his first race as part of the Biathlon European Cup in Obertilliach and was 49th of an individual. The Slovakian achieved his first top results as eighth in the sprint and seventh in the pursuit of Bansko. The first major event was the 2009 European Biathlon Championships in Ufa . In the sprint race he was 38th. The following pursuit race turned into a debacle for the Slovak: Out of 20 shots, Grone only hit five and finished in 43rd place. In the individual, he was able to stabilize his shooting performance a little again, missed seven times and was 43 again.
