Eva Kristejn Puskarčíková (* 3. January 1991 in Jilemnice as Eva Puskarčíková ) is a Czech biathlete .

Career

Eva Kristejn Puskarčíková starts for SKP Kornspitz Jablonec . She contested her first international races at the start of the 2009/10 season in the IBU Cup , where she was 103rd in the Idre sprint . In the further course of the season she won first points in Nové Město na Moravě as 38th of a sprint. It is also the best position in the racing series so far. The first major event was the 2011 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Nové Město. Kristejn Puskarčíková finished 62nd in the individual, 23rd in the sprint, 15th. the pursuit and ninth of the relay race. This was followed by the junior races at the European Biathlon Championships 2011 in Ridnaun , where the Czech finished 32nd in the individual, 24th in the sprint and 21st in the pursuit. In the further course of the season she took part in the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2011 in Martell and was sixth in the sprint junior races and won the bronze medal in the pursuit behind Jekaterina Smirnowa and Thordis Arnold . Because of the good results she was called up for the mixed relay race and won the bronze medal alongside Pavla Schorná , Luboš Schorný and Václav Bitala with the Czech Republic behind the relays from Russia and Ukraine. The best result in the junior races of the Biathlon European Championships 2012 in Osrblie was a sixth place in the individual.

Kristejn Puskarčíková competed in her first World Cup race in the 2011/12 season at the relay race in Oberhof . Her first individual race followed two years later in Hochfilzen , when she was 38th and won World Cup points in the first race. Before that, she took part in her Biathlon European Championships in Bansko in 2013 and won the silver medal in the relay race with Jitka Landová , Lea Johanidesová and Veronika Zvařičová . In the individual she was 16th, 29th in the sprint and 25th in the pursuit. In Annecy , she improved her best in the World Cup in a sprint to 25th place.

In the season 2016/17 she won the first individual medal of her career with 3rd place in Oberhof in a mass start and in the same season she also took 3rd place in the pursuit in Pokljuka .

At the Biathlon World Championships 2020 in Antholz, she won the bronze medal with the mixed relay.

Private

In May 2019 Eva Puskarčíková married the Czech biathlete Lukáš Kristejn . Since then she has appeared under the double name Kristejn Puskarčíková .
