Václav Bitala (born April 5, 1977 ) is a Czech summer biathlete in cross-country skiing .

Václav Bitala from the Rožnov pR club took part in the 2009 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof for the first time and finished 39th in the sprint and 31st in the pursuit race. In the sprint he spoiled a better position in prone shooting with four errors, while standing he hit all five targets. In the pursuit race that followed, he started with one mistake, but again awarded a better position because of the three and four mistakes in the last two shooting bouts. At the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2010 in Osrblie , he finished 23rd in the sprint and 29th in the pursuit race. At the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2011 in Martell , Bitala was ninth in the sprint and eighth in the pursuit race. In the relay race he won the bronze medal behind the representations from Russia and Ukraine on the side of Pavla Schorná , Eva Puskarčíková and Luboš Schorný as the final runner.
