Vlastimil Vávra (born March 28, 1991 ) is a Czech biathlete .

Vlastimil Vávra made his international debut in 2009 as part of the IBU Cup in Nové Město na Moravě , where he was 49th in the sprint. Only a little later he took part in the 2009 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Canmore and finished 17 in the individual, 12 in the sprint, eight in the pursuit and eleven with the relay. At the 2009 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof , he competed in the junior races on roller skis and was 42nd in the sprint and 39th in the pursuit. At the 2010 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Torsby , the ranks were 18 in the individual, 44 in the sprint, 27 in the pursuit and seven in the relay. A little later, at the 2010 European Biathlon Championships in Otepää, it was 39th in the individual, 40th in the sprint and pursuit, and 14th in the relay. He contested the relay race as a final runner on the side of Vít Jánov , Tomáš Krupčík and Ondřej Exler in the men. The third major event of the year was the junior races at the 2010 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Duszniki-Zdrój . With the relay and in the sprint Vávra was eighth, in the pursuit race he fell back to 19th place.

Also in 2011 Vávra took part in these three international junior championships. First he started at the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2011 in Nové Město, where he reached 14th place in individual, 42nd place in sprint, 31st place in pursuit and eighth place in relay race. The 2011 European Biathlon Championships followed in Ridnaun , where Vávra was again 14th in the individual, 35th in the sprint, 20th in the pursuit and eighth in the mixed relay. At the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2011 in Nové Město, the Czech finished fifth in the relay, 19 in the sprint and was taken out of the race as a lapped runner in the pursuit race.

Vávra is trained at the OEZ Letohrad, where his father Vlastimil Vávra Senior (* 1965) is the head coach.
