Magnar Solberg (born February 4, 1937 in Soknedal (now Midtre Gauldal ), Sør-Trøndelag province ) is a former Norwegian biathlete .

He won the gold medal over 20 km at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble and the silver medal with the 4 × 7.5 km relay. In 1972 in Sapporo , at the age of 35, he was again Olympic champion over the 20 km distance. He also won three silver and two bronze medals at world championships between 1969 and 1971 .

In 1968 he was honored with the Morgenbladet gold medal.

Until Solberg was replaced by the then 39-year-old Canadian skeleton driver Duff Gibson in February 2006 , he was the oldest individual winner at the Winter Olympics for 34 years from 1972.
