Galina Alexejewna Kuklewa

Galina Alexejewna Kuklewa ( Russian Галина Алексеевна Куклева ; born November 21, 1972 in Ischimbai , Bashkiria ) is a former Russian biathlete .

Galina Kuklewa won gold over 7.5 km and silver with the relay at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, and bronze with the relay in Salt Lake City in 2002 . At World Championships in Oslo in 2000 she won silver in the mass start and with the team three times gold (2000, 2001 and 2003), one silver (1999) and one bronze (1997). She was able to win 9 world cup races in her career and retired from active sport in 2003 after the world championships.
