Iwan Jurjewitsch Tscheresow ( Russian Иван Юрьевич Черезов , scientific transliteration Ivan Jur'evič Čerezov ; born November 18, 1980 in Ischewsk ) is a former Russian biathlete .

So far, Tscheresow could celebrate several successes with Russian squadrons. At the Biathlon Mixed Relay World Championship in 2005 in Khanty-Mansiysk , he won the gold medal over 4 × 6 km together with Olga Pyljowa , Svetlana Ischmuratowa and Nikolai Kruglow . He achieved a silver medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin with the men's relay over 4 × 7.5 km. In the sprint over 10 kilometers he took 6th place, over 20 kilometers it was enough for eighth place. At the 2007 World Championships in Antholz and 2008 in Östersund , he won the gold medal with the relay. As a starting runner, Ivan Tscheresow won the bronze medal with the Russian Olympic relay at the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver and achieved further top ten placements with 10th place in the sprint and two 6th places in pursuit and mass start.

In the World Cup , Tscheresow has so far secured seven World Cup victories.
