Aleh Ryshankou

Oleg Vladimirovich Ryschenkow ( Belarusian Алег Уладзіміравіч Рыжанкоў , scientific transliteration Aleh Uladzimiravič Ryžankoŭ ; Russian Олег Владимирович Рыженков , scientific transliteration. Oleg Vladimirovič Ryženkov * 15. December 1967 in Karelia ) is a former Belarusian biathlete .

Ryschenkow starts for the biathlon club Dinamo Minsk, where he is trained by Anatoly Perepechkin. He has been biathlon since 1985 and has been a member of the Belarusian national team since 1993. He made his debut in the Biathlon World Cup in 1992 in an individual in Pokljuka (20th). In his second race in the same place, a sprint, he was able to get on the podium for the first time (3rd). The first victory celebrated in Mogilev living Sports Soldier 1995 with a sprint in Ruhpolding . Two more victories followed to this day. In the 1994/95 season he was fifth in the overall World Cup and eighth in 2002/03. Ryschenkow is currently one of the oldest athletes to start in the World Cup.

In 1994 in Lillehammer , 1998 in Nagano , 2002 in Salt Lake City and 2006 in Turin Ryschenkow took part in the Olympic Games. He narrowly missed a medal in fourth place with the 1994 and 1998 season. He always competed at world championships between 1995 and 2006. In 1995 in Antholz he won bronze in the individual and sprint, 1996 in Ruhpolding bronze with the relay, 1997 silver in the individual and bronze in the sprint, 1999 gold with the relay in Kontiolahti , 2001 silver with the relay in Pokljuka and 2003 bronze in Chanty- Mansiysk again with the relay. There are also four fourth relay places.
