Kalevi Huuskonen

Kauko Kalevi Huuskonen (born April 21, 1932 in Vesanto , † January 7, 1999 ) was a Finnish biathlete .

He became world champion over 20 kilometers at the third biathlon world championships in Umeå in 1961 . The Finnish biathlon relay with Paavo Repo , Antti Tyrväinen and Huuskonen also won, but the relay competition was not yet an official part of the world championship. At the 1962 Biathlon World Championships in Hämeenlinna , Finland , Huuskonen finished eighth, in the unofficial relay competition Tyrväinen, Hannu Posti and Kuustonen finished second behind the Soviet relay.
