Wilfried "Willi the kid" Pallhuber (born August 4, 1967 in Niederrasen , South Tyrol ) is a former Italian biathlete .
The South Tyrolean took part in the Olympic Games for the fifth time at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin .
Pallhuber had his greatest moment in biathlon when he became world champion in the 10 kilometer sprint in 1997 . In 1993 he won the gold medal with the 4 × 7.5 kilometer relay at the Biathlon World Championships together with Johann Passler , Pieralberto Carrara and Andreas Zingerle . At the first summer biathlon world championships in 1996 in Hochfilzen , he won the sprint race title.
At the end of the 2006/07 season, the South Tyrolean ended his career with the pursuit race in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, where he finished 58th.
