Antti Eerkki Tyrväinen (born November 5, 1933 in Ylöjärvi , † October 13, 2013 in Tampere ) was a Finnish biathlete .

Tyrväinen was an officer in the Finnish army . He won the silver medal in the individual race over 20 km at the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley . Four years later he finished 13th in the same discipline at the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck .

At the Biathlon World Championship in 1961 he was fifth in the individual race, but won the unofficial title in the team competition with Kalevi Huuskonen and Paavo Repo , in which the three best individual results were evaluated. There were also silver medals at the Biathlon World Championships in 1962 and 1963 in individual and with the relay, as well as a bronze medal in individual in 1965 .
