Jelena Vladimirovna Melnikowa-Tschepikowa (Russian: Елена Владимировна Мельникова-Чепикова; born June 17, 1971 in Artjomowski ) is a Russian former biathlete .
Jelena Vladimirovna Melnikowa-Tschepikowa started for Profsoyuz Sverdlovsk during her active time . She celebrated her greatest success at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville , where she and Jelena Belowa and Anfissa Reszowa won the bronze medal for the United Team in the relay race for the first time biathlon competitions for women were held. She also achieved several good results in the biathlon world cup , for example when she won the relay race with Jelena Golowina , Reszowa and Iwa Agalakowa in Ruhpolding in 1991 . She is married to Sergei Chepikov .
