Nicolas Chatelain
Nicolas Chatelain (born January 13, 1970 in Amiens ) is a French table tennis player . He was one of the best players in France in the 1990s. He was twice European champion with the team.
Chatelain was twice national French champion in doubles, in 1993 with Patrick Chila and 1997 with Stéphane Lebrun.
Between 1991 and 1999 Chatelain took part in five world championships . In 1997 he won the silver medal with the French team.
He won three medals at European championships : in 1994 and 1998 he was European champion with the team, and second in 1996. At the EM 1998 he reached the quarter-finals in a mixed with Anne Boileau .
In 1992 he qualified for participation in the Summer Olympic Games in table tennis .
