Joachim Meischner (born August 13, 1946 in Zwönitz ) is a former German biathlete who competed for the GDR .

Joachim Meischner started for SG Dynamo Zinnwald . His greatest success, together with Horst Koschka , Hansjörg Knauthe and Dieter Speer, was winning the bronze medal with the GDR relay over 4 × 7.5 km at the 1972 Olympic Games in Sapporo . At the GDR championships in 1971 he won the bronze medal in the individual over 20 kilometers behind his club mates Hansjörg Knauthe and Horst Koschka. With the season of Dynamo Zinnwald he won the title in 1969 and 1970 together with Knauthe, Koschka and Manfred Beer , in 1971 with Günter Bartnik instead of Beers. In 1968 he was third in the GDR title fights with the second Dynamo season.
