René-Laurent Vuillermoz (born October 26, 1977 in Aosta ) is a former Italian biathlete .

Vuillermoz is a sports soldier and lives in Petit Cré . He starts for Centro Sportivo esercito and is coached by Paolo Riva. He made his debut in the biathlon world cup in 2002 in a sprint (84th) in Oberhof . In the following season, in the same year, he achieved a first notable placement in Östersund with an 11th place. His best placings were third places in 2005 in Ruhpolding and 2007 in Oberhof.

In 2002 he was used individually at the Olympic Games (72nd). At his " Olympic home games " in 2006 he was used in all five races and achieved his best placings with a 13th place in the pursuit and an eighth place in the relay. Since 2003 it has been used in all world championships, albeit not in all races and without notable successes. The Biathlon World Championships in 2007 in Antholz , Italy , have been the most successful so far . Vuillermoz finished ninth in the sprint and fourth with a surprisingly strong season. After two good years, the 2007/08 season was less successful.

Rene Vuillermoz won the mass start title at the Italian Championships in 2009 and was runner-up in the relay. He took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics. His best result was 54th place in the individual. At the 2011 Home World Cup in Antholz in South Tyrol, Rene Laurent Vuillermoz, together with Lukas Hofer , Christian De Lorenzi and Markus Windisch, took second place in the relay and thus made it to the podium for the first time with an Italian men's relay.
