Miroslav Janota (born October 12, 1969 ) is a Czech football player .

Club career

Janota started playing football at SU Teplice . There he went through all youth teams before he joined Dukla Prague in 1989 to do his military service there. The defender only stayed in Prague for six months and played for VTJ Tachov for the next year and a half.

After completing basic training, Janota returned to Teplice . In 1992 he moved to Viktoria Pilsen , with whom he was promoted to the newly founded first Czech league in the summer of 1993. There Janota completed 140 games in which he scored seven goals.

In January 1999 the Czech was signed by KFC Uerdingen 05 , for whom he played until 2003. His next stations were the ZFC Meuselwitz and the Heidenauer SV . The defender returned to the Czech Republic in 2006 and has played for Baník Modlany ever since.
