Miroslav Leitner

Miroslav Leitner (born August 1, 1966 in Brezno ) is a Slovak ski mountaineer and has been a member of the national team of the Slovenská skialpinistická asociácia (SSA) since 1992 .

He started ski mountaineering in 1983 and took part in his first competition in the sport in the same year.

Successes (selection)

  • 2004:
    • 5th place at the World Ski Mountaineering Relay (with Peter Svätojánsky, Branislav Kačina and Milan Madaj )
    • 7th place at the World Ski Mountaineering Team with Peter Svätojánsky
    • 9th place in the world championship ski mountaineering combined classification
  • 2005:
    • 5th place at the European Ski Mountaineering Relay Championship (with Milan Madaj, Peter Svätojánsky and Branislav Kačina)
    • 8th place at the European Ski Mountaineering Team with Peter Svätojánsky
