Mirpur Khas (often also written together: Mirpurkhas , Urdu / Sindhi : میرپور خاص) is the eighth largest city in Sindh Province , Pakistan , with 233,916 inhabitants (2017) . The city is famous for the over 200 different types of mangoes that grow here.

The city lies on the Let Wah Canal. It is connected to Hyderabad by rail and to Umarkot by main road . Other nearby places are Karachi and Hyderabad and the Thar Desert .
Mirpur Khas is not far from India and was also one of the first cities to accept refugees after the emergence of Pakistan. The Indian border is 170 kilometers away.
The city has numerous shopping malls and bazaars, which include Baldia Shopping Center , Shahi Bazaar, and Khisakpura .
