Misko Antisin (born July 4, 1964 in Vancouver , British Columbia ) is a former Swiss - Canadian ice hockey player .

Career

Antisin played in North America first in the lower class junior leagues before he was used in 1983 with the Victoria Cougars at the top junior level in the Western Hockey League .

After completing his junior years, Antisin moved to Switzerland in 1985 to what was then Zürcher SC . After one season he moved to the Leventina for HC Ambrì-Piotta , where other Canadian-Swiss dual citizens were already under contract. He spent most of his career between 1990 and 1998 at EV Zug , where he gradually became a crowd favorite and a regular scorer. In his last year for the club, he was able to win the Swiss championship with this . The subsequent World Cup with the Swiss national team was also successful and finished in fourth place. In 1992 he had finished fourth at the World Cup with the Swiss national team.

From 1998 Antisin ran for HC Lugano , with which he was able to celebrate another championship title in his first year. Towards the end of his career, he helped HC Servette Genève to move up to the National League A in 2002 . During the 2002/03 season he suffered a serious knee injury and had to end his career.

For Switzerland he scored 7 goals, 19 assists and 55 penalty minutes in 51 international matches .
