Nicola Sansone (born September 10, 1991 in Munich ) is a German-Italian soccer player .

Career

Sansone grew up in the Neuperlach district of Munich and began playing football at SV Neuperlach there. In 2002 he moved to the youth department of FC Bayern Munich , where he was appointed to coach Mehmet Scholl's second team in the 2009/10 season . He made his competitive debut on February 6, 2010 (23rd match day) in the 2-0 defeat in the away game against Dynamo Dresden , when he came on for David Alaba in the 56th minute . Three more substitutions followed by the end of the season. In the following season he scored on October 23, 2010 (13th matchday) in the 2: 3 defeat in the home game against Rot Weiss Ahlen with the goal to the meanwhile 1: 1 also his first third division. On October 29, 2010 (10th matchday), Sansone was part of the Bundesliga squad for the first time due to personnel problems, but was not used in the 4-2 win in the home game against SC Freiburg .

In the summer of 2011, the Italian first division club FC Parma announced the change of the free transfer Sansone. In September of the same year he was awarded for one year to the second division club FC Crotone . On 3 September 2011 (3rd Round) he made his debut against SS Juve Stabia in Serie B . In his first appearance in the Coppa Italia he scored a goal in the 2: 4 defeat in the away game against FC Bologna .

For the 2012/13 season Sansone returned to the squad of Parma FC. He made his debut on September 26 in 2012 (5th Round) in the match against Genoa in the Serie A . In his second appearance on matchday 9 against Turin , he scored his first goal. On December 8, 2013 (15th matchday) he scored two goals for the first time in a senior league game in a 3-3 draw in the away game against Inter Milan .

In the winter break of the 2013/14 season he moved to league rivals US Sassuolo Calcio .

In August 2016 he moved to Spain for Villarreal CF , where he was awarded a five-year contract. The transfer fee is said to have been 13 million euros.

National team

Sansone made his debut on November 29, 2007 for the U-17 national team of Italy in the 1: 2 defeat against the selection of Ukraine. For the U-18 national team , he also only played one game. In the 3-0 win over the selection of Denmark on January 14, 2009, he scored his first international goal . On March 11, 2009 he played for the U-19 national team for the first time .
