Roberto Soriano (born February 8, 1991 in Darmstadt ) is a German - Italian soccer player who is currently under contract with FC Bologna as a loan player from Villarreal .

Soriano was born as the son of Italian immigrants in Darmstadt, Hesse, and grew up in his native city. Like his older brother Elia , who has played for the Würzburger Kickers since 2016 , he played for the youth teams of SV Darmstadt 98 . In a game of Hesse selection he fell to the scouts of FC Bayern Munich , which offered him a place in summer 2005 in the Youth Academy, took the Soriano. For Bayern , he played his first game in the U-19 Bundesliga on October 28, 2007 against Offenburger FV as a youth . National team

Soriano played for various junior national teams in Italy. In the U-17 national team he was used a total of six times, for the first time on November 29, 2007. Including three games in the elite round of qualifying for the U-17 European Championship in 2008 .
