The Serie B teams of the 2010/11 season

The 2010/11 season is the 79th season of the Italian Serie B since its prototyping 1929. For the Serie A come relegated Atalanta , Siena and Livorno this. The clubs Novara Calcio , AS Varese 1910 , Pescara Calcio and Calcio Portogruaro Summaga rose from the Lega Pro Prima Divisione last year . Even before the start of the season, the AC Ancona team , which had finished 17th the previous year, was excluded from the 2010/11 season due to financial irregularities. For them, the team from US Triestina , relegated in the previous season, moved up. The first matchday started on August 22, 2010. The season ended on May 29, 2011.
