This was followed in 2005 by a loan period from AC Pistoiese . He didn't play there regularly, but when he played he was reliable. In twelve games he scored eight goals. After the last loan period ended and he saw no prospects at Piacenza Calcio, he moved to Fiorentina in 2008 . But the move was revealed on the flop, he only played three games for Fiorentina. In 2008 he moved to US Lecce , after one season he was loaned to Reggina Calcio . In the 2010/11 season he was loaned to Piacenza Calcio in Serie B and secured his club with 18 goals relegation. In the 2012/13 season he was promoted to the top scorer in Serie B (39 games, 24 goals) with Hellas Verona in the highest Italian league. In the summer of 2014 he moved to Bologna FC , with whom he also promoted to Serie A, but after promotion he moved back to Serie B to Ascoli Picchio FC 1898 . In 2017 he signed with league competitor AC Cesena . After its bankruptcy, he moved to Novara Calcio for the 2018/19 season . For the 2019/20 season , Cacica returned to his youth club Piacenza Calcio 1919. After 14 games and one goal, the contract between Cacia and Piacenza was terminated in December 2019.
