The Missouri State Route 100 , in St. Louis County also Manchaster Road called an axis running from east to west is State Road by the US -amerikanischen State Missouri . The eastern terminus is in the center of the city of St. Louis at the junction with Interstate 55 . The western end forms the confluence with US Highway 50 in Linn , which is in centrally located Osage County . The road is 195 km long and mostly follows the old Route 66 in the St. Louis area .

In the city of Linn, State Route 100 branches off from US Highway 50 to the north and reaches the Missouri River at Chamois . There the northern end point of Missouri State Route 89 is reached. In Hermann , the northern end point of Missouri State Route 19 is reached. Further east, the road comes to New Haven , from where State Route 100 runs along the Missouri via the northern terminus of Missouri State Route 185 to Washington . Missouri State Route 47 intersects there .

The parallel course with the Missouri River ends behind Washington and Interstate 44 is reached. To the northeast of it the St. Louis County is reached. A little later, a portion as a starting motor road ( expressway is removed). Missouri intersects State Route 109 in Wildwood . The expanded section ends in Ellisville , where Missouri State Route 340 intersects. From here on, Route 100 is called Manchester Road .

Missouri State Route 141 crosses in Manchester . Further east, Interstate 270 crosses and the city of Des Peres is reached. US Highway 61 and 67 , which run together, are crossed in Kirkwood . Route 100 continues through Warson Woods , Glendale , Rock Hill , Brentwood , and Maplewood .

Route 100 then reaches the St. Louis metropolitan area . In downtown St. Louis, Missouri State Route 100 ends at Interstate 55 .

The longest part of Missouri State Route 100 is part of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail , which commemorates the Lewis and Clark Expedition .

Between St. Louis and Interstate 44, Route 100 is the same as historic Route 66 .
