history
In 2012, the show was designed by Marco Woelfer in honor of the musical works of Rod Stewart. The show consists of Marco Woelfer, as “Mr. Rod ”, and a live band consisting of musicians and singers. The show combines songs by Rod Stewart with stories from his life and performs.
In late 2013, Rod Stewart's management (Stiefel Entertainment) officially authorized the show. The show premiered in Singapore in January 2014 and first came to Germany in June 2014. The show has since toured u. a. through Great Britain , East Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong ), North America ( Miami , Key West ), Europe, South America ( Caracas ), the United Arab Emirates ( Dubai , Abu Dhabi ) and New Zealand . The show had several appearances on regional television programs such as Nordreportage (NDR, 2014), Hier ab 4 (MDR, 2015) and others.
