The Mistichelli Hills are a group of relatively low and rocky hills on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . On the eastern edge of the Amery Ice Shelf, they loom 1.5 km southwest of the McKaskle Hills .
The American geographer John Hobbie Roscoe (1919-2007) mapped it in 1952 using aerial photographs of Operation Highjump (1946-1947). He named it after Gabriel Mistichelli (1927-2013), who was involved in the reconnaissance flights during Operation Highjump to create aerial photographs between 14 ° and 164 ° east longitude.
