Editorial editing

The series' spokesperson and also its editor was the political scientist and folklorist Jean-Christophe Victor until his death in December 2016 . Victor was co-founder and head of the private research institute Lépac ( Laboratoire d'études politiques et cartographiques , dt. "Laboratory for Political Studies and Cartography") and worked closely for the program with the co-authors Virginie Raisson and Frank Tétart, the staff are at the institute. Usually Karl-Heinz Grimm Victors speaks the dubbing voice , occasionally Christian Stonner as well.

With the continuation of the program in September 2017, Pierre-Olivier François takes over the editorial work. The German voice for Émilie Aubry is Andrea Schieffer.

Shipment content

Maps in the equal-area Eckert IV projection are used to display the contents of the program .

The ten- to twelve-minute program mostly deals with relevant and current topics, but occasionally also contexts that are on the verge of public attention. The range of topics ranges from the creation of the world map and marine pollution to historical and hot topics such as the geopolitical situation of Japan over the centuries or the foreign policy of the United States . Countries or regions with their special geopolitical conditions are also often presented. In order to be able to deal with certain topics in more detail, these are often expanded to two or three episodes. At the end of each program, Jean-Christophe Victor presented further literature or cultural events related to the topic of the program. After a visual redesign of the program, Jean-Christophe Victor only presented French literature, while the website also lists German-language literature recommendations.

Charisma
