Mitch Byrd

Mitch Byrd (* 1961 in Jackson) is an American comic artist.

Life and work

Byrd began working as a full-time comic book artist in the 1980s. The first work he presented was the humorous comic Cat and Mouse , which he created together with the artists Steven Butler and Roland Mann, who also came from Mississippi . After Cat and Mouse was first published by Aircel, the series switched to Malibu Comics.

In 1993, Byrd finally began to work for the two market leaders in the American comic industry: For DC Comics he drew the series Guy Gardner and Darkstars as regular illustrators, as well as special editions for the series Green Lantern and Starman , titled Annuals , while he was at Marvel Comics for the series Punisher took action.
