Messages. Sponsorship group archives and libraries on the history of the labor movement
The "Announcements of the Support Group Archives and Libraries for the History of the Labor Movement eV" are published by the " Support Group Archives and Libraries for the History of the Labor Movement " based in Berlin . They appear as periodical since the founding of the Supporting 1,991 twice a year in March and in September. The “Mitteilungen” is a German scientific journal that deals primarily with the history of the German and international labor movement and the history of the GDR in the context of its archival and library foundation. It is aimed at archivists, librarians, historians, students and those interested in history. The main part of this specialist body consists of articles on German and foreign archives and libraries including their holdings, traditions and finding aids with a focus on the history of the German and international labor movement and social movements as well as the presentation of first published or little-known special contemporary documents . Additional content includes reports on scientific meetings and conferences at home and abroad, research that has been undertaken or new research results achieved, especially by doctoral students, author presentations, a detailed review section on current scientific literature and the section "Activities of the Association's Members".
The editorial team includes Holger Czitrich-Stahl (editor), Elke Reuter and Alexander Amberger.
