Mitterfischen is a former Hofmark and is now part of the municipality of Pähl .

history

The oldest traces of settlement are several early medieval row graves in Aidenried and the remains of a medieval tower hill in Mitterfischen. Until 1307, the property in Mitterfischen and Aidenried (also called Noderried or Hinterfischen) belonged to the Lords of Fischen. Thereafter ownership passed to the Perchtinger family . In 1357 Mitterfischen changed ownership again and from then on belonged to the Pienzenauers von Wildenholzen. Mittenfischen remained in the possession of the Pienzenauers until the family died out in 1801.

In the middle of the 18th century, the Hofmarkt comprised six properties in Mitterfischen and six more in Aidenried.

Mitterfischen belonged to the municipality of Fischen am Ammersee , which was incorporated into Pähl on May 1, 1978.
