The Miziowa Hut ( pl. Schronisko PTTK na Hali Miziowej ) is located at an altitude of 1274 meters in Poland in the Saybuscher Beskids on the northern slope of Pilsko . The area belongs to the Korbielów commune . The hut is known after the Hala Miziowa mountain pasture .
history
The first hut was planned in 1906, but the First World War initially canceled the plans. Finally, it was opened in 1930 by the Polish Tatra Society with the support of Karl Stephan Habsburgs for 125 guests. During the Second World War, the hut was taken over by the Beskydy Association . In 1953 the hut burned down. It was reopened as a mountain hut in 1971. After many years of renovation work, a new hut was opened in 2003. In 2018 the old hut burned down for good. The hut is owned by the PTTK . There is also a mountain rescue station in the building. There are ski lifts nearby. The hut is on the main Beskydy hiking trail .
