Mladen Issayev

Mladen Mladenow Issajew ( Bulgarian Младен Младенов Исаев ; born June 20, 1907 in Baljuwiza , † May 14, 1991 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian poet.

He was born the son of a farmer. He published his first volume of poetry in 1932. Several other volumes followed, and his works are often politically influenced by his socialist views. He contributed to the text of the Bulgarian national anthem, which was valid from 1950 to 1964 .

Isayev was awarded the Dimitrov Prize as a hero of socialist work .
