Mobile aeronautical service via satellite (OR)
The Mobile radiotelephone service via satellite (OR) (also Portable air-satellite service (OR) ; English aeronautical mobile-satellite (OR) service ) is as defined by the ITU Radio Regulations (Radio Regulations) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a mobile communications service via Satellite intended for radio communications, including flight coordination traffic, primarily outside of national and international civil air routes. In this context, the (OR) symbolizes use only for flights outside civil air routes (off-route) .
