The mobile aeronautical radio service via satellites (R) (also mobile aeronautical radio service via satellites (R) ; English aeronautical mobile-satellite (R) service ) is a cellular service via the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in accordance with the definition of the Regulations for the Radio Service (VO Funk) Satellite reserved for radio communications relating to the safety and regularity of flights, primarily on national or international civil air routes. In this context, the (R) symbolizes use only for flights on civil routes (route) .
