The mobile-satellite service ( English mobile-satellite service ) is as defined by the ITU Radio Regulations (Radio Regulations) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a radio service

  • between mobile earth stations and one or more space stations or between space stations used for this radio service; or
  • between, mobile earth stations via one or more space stations.
