Mohamed Al-Dehaimi

Mohamed al-Dehaimi ( Arabic محمد بن عبد الله الدهيمي, DMG Muḥammad b. ʿAbd Allaah ad-Duhaimī ; Born October 13, 1965 ) is a Qatari diplomat and the current Ambassador of the Emirate of Qatar to the People's Republic of China .

education

In 1997 Mohamed al-Dehaimi studied law at the Arab University of Beirut in Lebanon .

In 2000 he received a diploma from Tufts University in diplomacy and law.

Career

On September 1, 1993, Dehami started working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Between 1993 and 2002 he worked in various departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 2002 to 2007 he was part of the Qatari Mission to the United Nations (UN) in Geneva . Between 2008 and 2009 he was the Deputy Director for Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

From 2009 to 2011 he was Vice Director for American and European Affairs. In 2013 he held the same position for Asia.

From 2014 to 2019 he served as Qatar's ambassador to South Korea . In 2019, he then moved to his current position as Ambassador of Qatar to the People's Republic of China.

Private

Mohamed al-Dehaimi has three sons and two daughters.
