Laurens Zintsch (born January 1, 1999 in Naumburg (Saale) ) is a German football player .

Career

After his beginnings in the youth of Naumburger SV 05 , FC Carl Zeiss Jena and Hamburger SV , he moved back to the youth department of Jena in summer 2017. In summer 2018 he was accepted into the squad of the 2nd team. For Jena II he played 42 league games, in which he scored seven goals, until nationwide games were interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic in mid-March 2020. At the beginning of June 2020, Zintsch was appointed by head coach Kenny Verhoene as part of an internal restructuring measure together with five other top division players in the third division squad, which was able to participate in the league again. It was there that he made his first professional appearance when he came on as a substitute for Patrick Schorr on June 17, 2020, the 33rd match day, in the 0: 4 away defeat against Hansa Rostock in the 62nd minute of the game .
