Kitu is a small, uninhabited island in the Tongan archipelago of Vavaʻu .
geography
Kitu is located off the northern tip of Nuapapu in the Ava Pulepulekai Channel . In the north there are Luafatu in front of the northern tip of Hunga , as well as Cape Fata of Vavaʻu.
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Vavaʻu group, Kitu is occasionally hit by cyclones .
