Mohamed Machfar
Sheikh Mohamed Machfar ( Arabic محمد مشفر); (Born September 25, 1962 in Halfaouine , Tunisia ) is a Tunisian Islamic clergyman. He is Imam Chatib of the El Moez Mosque (بجامع المعزّ) from El Menzah in Tunis .
Life
Machfar designed a religious TV program on Radio Zitouna ( Arabic إذاعة الزيتونة), which was founded by Sakhr el-Materi , the son-in-law of the former Tunisian President Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali . He was considered one of the symbols of the deposed regime . As a television preacher, he also designed many programs on TV 7 . He has specialized in the seven and ten readings of the Koran and the recitation of the Koran .
He is one of the representatives of the Ash'ari school of theology ( Arabic أشعرية / As̲h̲ʿariyya).
