Mohammed Saleh Isfahani

Mohammed Saleh Isfahani (also Mohammad Saleh Esfahani ; listen ? / I PersianAudio file / audio sample محمد صالح اصفهانی Muḥammad Ṣalāḥ Iṣfahānī ; mohæmmæd sɑlɛh ɛsfɑhɑni ; * unknown; † April 3, 1714 ) was a calligrapher of the Safavid era. He was the son of Abu Turab Isfahani and his pupil. He followed Mir Emad's style. Many of the inscriptions on the historical buildings in Isfahan , such as the inscription on the Ivan of the Tschehel Sotun Palace, are his works.
