Mohammed ibn Abdel Karim al-Samman

Mohammed ibn Abdel Karim al-Samman (* 1718 ; † 1775 ) was a famous ʿālim and mystic who taught in Medina . He was initiated in various other turuq besides the Chalwatiyya (in particular the Qadiriyya , Nakschibendi and Shādhilīya ) and combined elements of all of these into his own Khalwatiyya branch called Sammaniyya .
