Mohawkit

Mohawkite is the name for a very rarely occurring, brass-yellow mineral mixture of algodonite , domeykite and arsenic-rich copper .

Mohawkit was first found in the " Mohawk Mine" in Keweenaw County , Michigan, USA. It was described in 1971 by PB Moore, who named it after its type locality .

Mohawkit could only be found in Calumet in Houghton County (Michigan) except at its type locality .
