Moment of Peace is a song by the German Gregorian chant band Gregorian with the English singer Sarah Brightman .

Origin and production

It was released in 2001 by Edel as the only single and as the opening track of their third studio album Masters of Chant Chapter II (also 2001). It is a pop song based on Gregorian singing , written by Amelia Brightman and Carsten Heusmann and produced by Heusmann, Jan-Eric Kohrs and Michael Soltau . An unpublished, multilingual version of the song can be found on the Facebook page of the Gregorian band, which was uploaded by Markus Zöllner in 2014. Moment of Peace is one of Gregorian's greatest hits with more than ten million views on YouTube.

The song was placed in the German charts for four weeks and reached number 87.
